Heat pump installation in the Algarve

A heat pump uses the heat in the outside air to heat water or your home. We choose the right unit for the property, install it and connect it on its own circuit – with our own team, based in Portimão.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you do the full installation?

Yes. Rovex Energy installs the heat pump and makes the electrical connection. When it is part of a renovation, we coordinate with the other ROVEX Construction teams.

Where does the outdoor unit go?

In a well-ventilated spot with access for maintenance, where the noise will not disturb. We choose the place with you during the visit.

Does my consumer unit need upgrading?

We check the contracted power and the consumer unit. The heat pump gets its own circuit with suitable protection.

Does a heat pump work with solar panels?

Yes. A heat pump runs on electricity, so it pairs well with solar panels – we plan both together.
